Doha, Qatar, 5 April 2009: Vodafone Qatar Q.S.C. ("Vodafone Qatar") today announced the list of accredited receiving banks appointed for its Initial Public Offering ("IPO").
Subscription for Offer Shares in Vodafone Qatar's IPO opens on Sunday 12 April and closes at 1pm on Sunday 26 April 2009.*
Twelve receiving banks have been appointed to manage the application process. They include Qatar National Bank; HSBC Bank Middle East; Al-Ahli Bank, Arab Bank; Commercial Bank of Qatar; Doha Bank; International Bank of Qatar; Qatar Islamic Bank; Qatar International Islamic Bank; Masraf al-Rayyan; Mashreq Bank and Al Khalij Commercial Bank.
A spokesperson speaking on behalf of Joint Lead Receiving Banks HSBC & QNB commented: "The twelve banks selected have met our stringent criteria for operating as receiving banks. We anticipate a positive response to this offer and have every confidence in the ability of our selected receiving banks to handle the likely high volume of applications over the two week subscription period."

SUBSCRIPTION INSTRUCTIONS
- Completed subscription forms need to be submitted to one of the receiving banks by no later than 1pm on 26 April 2009.
- Full payment for shares (including the Offering costs) will be required upon submission of subscription forms. Payment must be made by direct debit from funds held on account with any one of the receiving banks to "Vodafone Qatar - Initial Public Offering". Payment may only be made by direct debit authorisation from accounts with any of the receiving banks. Cheques will not be accepted.
- Any parties wishing to purchase shares on behalf of another person must provide a duly notarized power of attorney, annexed to the subscription form.
