  • Q. Can I use Mobile Broadband on Red and Freedom?
    • A:Yes. You can enjoy browsing the internet on both Red and Freedom payment methods. Mobile Broadband Plans are great value on Red, but to get the ultimate value we recommend our Freedom Mobile Broadband Plans.
  • Q. What devices can I use with Mobile Broadband?
    • A:There are a number of ways to enjoy internet services on the go with Mobile Broadband:
      • Vodafone Mobile Broadband USB stick. We have a great selection all with self-installing software – simply plug it in and start surfing.
      • Vodafone Mobile Broadband MiFi. If you want to share your internet connection when you’re on the move, then go for our stylish Vodafone MiFi. This portable mini WiFi hotspot allows up to five simultaneous users. You can invite your friends to jump onto your internet connection or you can even use your other WiFi enabled devices such as your portable game console to go online.
      • Tablets and Laptops. Some tablets and laptops have a 3G module built in. If you have one of these, just insert the SIM into your device, configure the software of your laptop vendor and you’re good to go.
  • Q. Why is the speed sometimes slow?
    • A:Sometimes the 3G network is unable to deliver sufficient signal strength. This could be because you are outside the 3G network coverage area, or are using a mobile that is not 3G enabled. Try refreshing/reloading the page or restarting the browser after a couple of minutes.
  • Q. If I go overseas, will I be able to roam on my Vodafone Qatar Mobile Broadband Plan?
    • A:Your Mobile Broadband Plan is for local use only. To roam, you will need to purchase a One-off or Automatic Mobile Broadband Roaming Add-on. For more information, click here.
      When you use your Mobile Broadband USB stick abroad for the first time it may take a bit longer to find a network. This is because we want to connect you to the best available roaming network partner to make your experience as good as possible. Please allow up to five minutes to complete this process. The software is saving the setting and the next network search should be done again within a couple of seconds just as it does in Qatar.
  • Q. I just got Vodafone Mobile Broadband and found out that I don’t have enough network coverage at home to use it. Can I return it?
    • A:At Vodafone we have a 7 day return policy, so if you bring back the USB stick or MiFi within 7 days from the time you bought it (along with proof of purchase) we'll refund it in full.
  • Q. How much is Mobile Broadband?
    • A:For QR 200 a month you can choose from one of these Mobile Broadband plans:

  • Q. How do I check my balance?
  • Q. What happens if I use up my data before the end of the month?
    • A:If you’re on a Red Mobile Broadband Plan and your balance runs low before the end of the month, you can top-up with another Red Plan anytime via scratch card, our Call Center or online at www.vodafone.com.qa/topup
      If you’re on a Freedom Mobile Broadband plan with No-Limit and you have reached your limit, a new plan will automatically be loaded to your account.
      If you’re on Freedom Mobile Broadband Plan with Monthly-Limit and your balance runs low before your next anniversary, you have the flexibility to top-up with a Red Plan anytime via scratch card, our call centre, or online at www.vodafone.com.qa/topup
  • Q. What happens if I do not use all of my Data before the end of the month?
    • A:All Mobile Broadband Plans are valid for one month, and any remaining balance after one month will expire.
  • Q. Can I have a Mobile Broadband Plan and a RED or Freedom Plan for voice on the same SIM?
    • A:No, Mobile Broadband Plans are designed for data only, devices such as, USB modems, tablets, other mobile broadband routers and WIFI devices. If you need to use data on your mobile you can choose from one of our Mobile Internet Plans. Click here for more information.
