- Q.What is the customer care number and when are you open?
- A:You can reach our customer care by dialing 111 from your Vodafone mobile or 800 7111 from any other line. You can also reach us via email at care.qa@vodafone.com. There is no charge for calling customer care from your Vodafone mobile number.
- If you are calling us from outside Qatar, dial +974 7700 7111.
- Customer care is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Q.How long will it take for me to get my new Vodafone SIM in the mail?
- A:If you select Home Delivery, we’ll deliver your new Vodafone SIM to you within 2 working days of purchasing online. If you selected to pick up your new Vodafone SIM at an Aramex Shop&Ship location, it will also be available for pickup 2 business days after purchasing online.
- Q.How can I raise a complaint with ictQATAR?
- A:To reach customer care, you can dial 111 from your Vodafone mobile, call 800 7111, or email us at care.qa@vodafone.com. Should your concerns not be addressed by customer care within 30 calendar days from when you first contacted us, you may contact ictQATAR at consumervoice@ict.gov.qa or +974 4499 5353.

- Q.What happens if my SIM is lost or not working properly?
- A:Please call our Customer Care Centre on 800 7111 for help.
- Q.What happens if I am experiencing problems with my Vodafone service?
- A:If you have any problems with our service please call our Customer Care Centre on 800 7111, or +974 7700 7111 from overseas.
- Q.How much do calls to the Customer Care Centre cost if I call from a landline or another mobile number?
- A:Please check with the mobile or landline provider for costs to this number.
- Q.Are there any terms and conditions?
- A:Yes, you must agree to the terms and conditions in order to buy online. You can read the Vodafone terms and conditions here.
- Q.How does pick-up or delivery work?
- A: You can choose whether to pick up your order from an Aramex Shop&Ship location or to have it delivered to your home. All home deliveries are made by courier.
If you select to pick up your order, you can do so 2 business days after your order is placed.
If you select home delivery, our courier partner will call you and arrange a suitable delivery date and time. Delivery can be as soon as 2 business days after placing an order online.
If you cannot be present to receive your order, then you can have a representative do so in your place. You will need to fill out a Letter of Authorization.
If your order contains a Star Number that is not paid for in full, then you also will be required to pay the entire remaining balance at the time of delivery. You can do so with cash or check. These types of orders are only available with home delivery.
- If you have ordered a Star Number using a Shareholder voucher, it will take 5 business days to process the order

- Q.What happens if I missed the delivery of my order?
- A:Our Customer Care Centre will be able to help you. Please call 800 7111 or 111 from your Vodafone mobile.
- Q.Can someone else pick up or receive my order on my behalf?
- A:Yes, you may send somebody else pick up your order or nominate someone to receive your order. You must complete and sign this Letter of Authorisation. The person that is picking up or accepting on your behalf will also need to present your original Qatari ID or passport as well as their original Qatari ID or passport.
- Q.What was the 2010 promo all about?
- A:To celebrate the New Year, Vodafone gave 2010 free minutes to all existing Vodafone customers, and everyone who joined before 28 February 2010.
- Q.Who can I call with my 2010 free minutes?
- A:When you’re in Qatar you can use these minutes to call any other Vodafone number in Qatar.
- Q.Can I use these minutes to call overseas?
- A:You can only use these minutes to call Vodafone Qatar customers who are roaming overseas. Otherwise, you cannot use these minutes to make international calls.
- Q.How long are the 2011 minutes valid for?
- A:As long as you load a Freedom plan once a month, the 2011 free minutes are valid throughout the year until 31 December 2011. Any unused minutes will then expire.
- Q.What happens if I use all my 2011 minutes before the end of the year?
- A:The 2011 free minutes are a one time offer only and are valid until the end of 2011. If you use all these minutes before the end of the year you will not receive another bundle of 2011 free minutes.
- Q.What happens to my Vodafone minutes that I already get with my plan?
- A:The 2011 free minutes are in addition to the Vodafone minutes that you get with each plan and will be consumed after these minutes.
- Q.How do I find out how many of my 2011 minutes are left?
- A:Simply type *129# and press send. An SMS message will be sent to you with your remaining minutes.
- Q.Will I be informed when my minutes are running low?
- A:Yes. We will inform you when there are 60 minutes of your 2011 Vodafone free minutes left.
- Q.What happens if I don’t load a Freedom plan once a month?
- A:You will lose the remaining balance of your free minutes. To remain eligible for the 2011 free minutes throughout the year you need to make sure you have a Freedom plan loaded each month.
- Q.What happens when I roam, or call people who are roaming?
- A: If the person you call on Vodafone is roaming, the free minutes will still be used as if it were a local call.
If you’re roaming and make a call, the call is charged normally and does not use the free minutes.

- Q.Can I transfer credit from my Red, Freedom or Mobile Internet plan to another Vodafone customer?
- A:When you reload your Red or Freedom plan, you cannot transfer the value to another customer. However you can use the money stored in your Vodafone Money Account to buy a Red plan as a gift for someone else. You can also send Mobile Internet packs to your friends or family whenever they need it, through your mobile phone.
Simply go to your SIM menu and :
- Choose Vodafone Money
- Account
- Buy RED plans
- All VFQ products
- Other number.
- Select the product you want to send and enter the number of the recipient.
This service is free of charge, so we will only deduct the price for the plan with no added service fees!
