We've made improvements to Freedom!

We listened to your feedback and so now we'll automatically load another Flexi plan when your balance is getting low instead of when you have used up all your value to make sure you always stay connected!

 

How low does my balance get before you automatically load another Flexi?
We will automatically load another Flexi plan on your account when your account balance reaches QR 2.

 

What if my balance is already below QR2 when you make the change on 17th June?
If your balance is below QR 2 when the improvement is made another Flexi plan will be loaded onto your account when you have used up all your value as normal. The next time your balance reaches QR 2.00 another Flexi plan will be loaded onto your account to help you stay connected.

 

Freedom is the new monthly way to pay for our Flexi plans. It's very easy to set up your monthly Freedom account. It happens automatically when you buy Flexi on Freedom online.

Freedom is free and provides you with total control and convenience.

It works like this:

  • Choose the Flexi plan that's right for you.
  • Set up your Freedom account.
  • Select your Vodafone number.
  • Get a Welcome Pack.

Your Freedom account gets paid automatically from your credit card or bank account *.


With Freedom you get the best value and total control over what you spend. If you don't use all of your plan in a month, you can use it for another whole month. Plus, you can check your balance at any time.


You can also use your Freedom account for any Vodafone plan or product and at any time, you have the flexibility to change your plan or to close your account for free.


* To use a bank account instead of credit card to set up Freedom, you’ll need to visit a Vodafone retail location for your purchase.

Q: Why is Vodafone making this change?

A:
Some of our customer’s were unable to use up all their value to start the automatic load, eg they had QR 0.07 left as their balance. This meant that customers were unable to do any outbound calls, send an SMS etc as they did not have enough value to stay connected.

Q: Balance query (*129#) is not returning a Freedom Flexi balance even though I have some credit left on my account

A:
Great! That means that the loading is in progress. Once the automatic load of your new Flexi plan has completed you will see the new Flexi load value, plus any value you had left when the automatic loading of your Flexi started.

Q: What if I am on a call when my balance reaches QR2?

A:
You will be able to keep talking until you have used up your value. Once you have finished your call or used up your value the automatic load will take place.

Q: What if I am not using up my balance?

A:
If your balance does not reach QR2.00 you will have another Flexi plan automatically loaded on your next anniversary date as normal.

Q: What happens if I use all of my Flexi plan before the month ends?

A:
You'll stay connected because we'll automatically add another Flexi plan to your account and notify you by SMS. We'll never penalise you for using up all of your plan.

Q: What happens if I don’t use all of my Flexi plan before the month ends?

A:
Any remaining balance will automatically roll over into the following month and be good for another 30 days.

Q: Can I change my Flexi plan?

A:
Yes, you may increase or decrease the value of your plan at any time and at no cost.

Q: Can I close my Freedom account?

A:
You can close your Freedom account whenever you want and for free.

Q: How do I know how much I have spent during the month?

A:
It’s easy to check your balance at any time. Simply dial *129# from your mobile* or call our Customer Care Champions by dialling 111 from your Vodafone mobile. We’ll be sure to notify you by SMS when you’ve used 80% of your monthly plan.
