John may be our chief financial brain, but he knows there are still some things you can never put a price on - family, friends and good health.

That's why he makes sure he spends as much time balancing the books as he does spending quality time with his family. And as a man who has spent over 25 years in the business and financial transformation sector - you can trust his judgement!

Before joining Vodafone, John was a Management Consultant. He would ride into town to help companies that were in tricky situations. Then he'd shoot down the problems in the shortest time possible. He used his experience and knowledge to help out some pretty big clients; Air New Zealand, Countrywide Bank, Thames Water Plc, Kingfisher Plc and London Transport to name but a few.

Vodafone New Zealand were lucky enough to feel the benefit of this sharp shooter when, as ihug Chief Financial Officer, he doubled the revenue in 15 months.

Now we are happy to welcome him, his wife Anna and daughters Grace (8) and Holly (6) to Qatar where they have been enjoying the beautiful weather and beaches. You can find him most weekends barefoot water skiing in Westbay Lagoon, which also demands a good sense of balance.
