Who is Al Johara?

Al Johara, a unique initiative for Qatari women to sell Vodafone products and services to friends, families and communities.

Qatari women learn new skills, work at home, earn income and develop their entrepreneurial talent, within traditional and cultural communities.

All of the above help contribute to Qatar’s Lofty National Vision 2030 Human, Social and Economic development.

Al Johara programme is scalable it is increasing employment and empowering Qatari women.

All Joharas have set high Goals for them selves. The Team has achieved their targets for their first two months.

• Age Range of Joharas 18 – 45 years
• 50 % are Mothers & 50% are students
• 70 % have exceeded their targets
• All have total support of the men in their families
• All have taken well to the concept of business and networking
• All are building their database to grow their business

Next Steps

• Our current Johara team starts English lessons this month
• We have begun recruiting our next team of 10 Joharas
• We have very keen interest from the community
• We plan to also recruit a team of 10 local Yemeni women next month
